Join Reading Pride Celebration and WCR Center for the Arts for the 2026 Reading Pride Annual Art Show, celebrating the creativity, talent, and diverse voices of LGBTQ+ artists and allies throughout Berks County and beyond.

As Reading Pride celebrates 20 years of building community, we're proud to continue this annual tradition and celebrate the power of art to inspire, connect, and tell the many stories of our community.

The Exhibition

The Annual Art Show will be on display at WCR Center for the Arts from September 25 through November 15, 2026. The exhibition will feature work in a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, mixed media, digital art, illustration, ceramics, textile and fiber art, and more.

Some artwork will be available for purchase, giving visitors an opportunity to support participating artists while adding an original piece to their collection.

Gallery Reception & Performance Showcase

Saturday, October 10, 2026 | 5:00–8:00 PM

Join us for a special evening celebrating the artists and performers who bring our community's creativity to life. Our Gallery Reception & Performance Showcase will feature the exhibition alongside live performance art, including spoken word, poetry, music, dance, theater, and more.

Admission to the reception is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available, along with a cash cocktail bar, with proceeds helping support Reading Pride's year-round programs. Donations are always appreciated.

Calling LGBTQ+ Artists & Performers

We want to showcase your work!

Reading Pride is seeking artists and performers of all experience levels to participate in this year's Annual Art Show. Whether you're an established artist, sharing your work publicly for the first time, or expressing your creativity through live performance, we invite you to submit your work for consideration.

Artists may submit physical artwork, propose a live performance for the October 10 Performance Showcase, or do both.

Accepted physical artwork will be installed at WCR Center for the Arts by scheduled appointment September 20–24, 2026. Artists should not bring artwork to the venue without a confirmed installation appointment.

Use the Submit Your Artwork or Performance button on the left to submit your work for consideration.

Submission does not guarantee inclusion. Reading Pride will review submissions based on available gallery space, event scheduling, technical requirements, venue limitations, and other program needs.
